The California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) report for the Stadium Light and Public Address System Project is underway and the public comment period for the Notice of Preparation (NOP) is open for the 30 day public comment period. Wednesday, May 25 - 5th and 6th period final exams; 12:20 Dismissal
Thursday, May 26 - 1st and 2nd period final exams; 12:20 Dismissal



Graduation Fundraiser


The Class of 2017 will be hosting a fundraiser at the graduation ceremony by selling flower lei's and teddy bears.  Please help support the Class of 2017!  Sales will be in front of the little theater as well as the general entrance. 

Construction Update

Principal Jeff Gilbert was joined by science teachers JB Luzar, Craig Childress and former science teacher Steve Maskel to sign the final beam before it was placed onto the new building. The building will house our new science labs and is scheduled to open in January 2017. 



Support Computer Science at Hillsdale


Hillsdale is partnering with TEALS to bring high quality Computer Science to Hillsdale again next year, including a new section of AP Computer Science. We are looking for industry support and are hoping that our parent community can help with time or contacts. Please see attached  for details.

2016-2017 AP and Community College Contracts 


Please turn in your AP contracts to your counselor before the May 2nd deadline to avoid being removed from your Honors or Advanced Placement classes next year.


If you have signed up for any of the following classes you also need to turn in your CSM contract and college connection forms:

Psychology, American Sign Language, Ceramics, Chamber Singers, Symphonic Band or Chamber Orchestra

Upgraded Graduation Seats on Sale Now

The Foundation is offering a limited amount of premium graduation seats. This is an "upgrade" to the existing seats assigned by the school to your family. Secure your seats with a donation to HHSF. Your donation will go towards funding academic excellence at Hillsdale.  Click here and scroll to the bottom for the Upgraded Graduation Seat order form online or pick one up at the main office. There is a box for completed forms in the main office.

The EDGE (www.theedgesm.org) presents San Mateo Innovation Week which celebrates the spirit of creativity, productivity and innovation in San Mateo.

Construction Update:

If you have been by the school in the past month, you have noticed the construction that has started on the southwest corner of the campus. We are anxiously awaiting the completion of the 20 classroom facility that is being built, and which is due to be completed in about a year.
