The Hillsdale High School Foundation is holding the second annual “A Knight Out” Benefit on March, 3rd 2018. This event will be held at the Twin Pines Senior Community Center. “A Knight Out” will be a very entertaining evening that will include a Mexican Feast to celebrate our new House Oaxaca. The night will include appetizers, dinner, dessert, drinks, silent Auction, games, live Auction, raffles, dancing and karaoke.

The District, including all of our schools, will be launching brand new websites in December!  As a team, we revamped our websites in all aspects – visual identity, menu organization and functionality. What does this mean for you?

  • A more visually appealing look (with more photos!) so you don’t get overwhelmed just looking at the home page!
  • A more intuitive reorganized website that will allow you to more efficiently find the content you want
  • More ways to highlight school and student accomplishments and events
  • A list of “quick links” and visual clickable “icons” that will take you to the pages most visited on our sites
  • New and rewritten content that will help you navigate your student’s four years of high school
  • Consistent menu options and content across all school sites
  • “Portals” that will take you to all of the school tools you use in one place
  • Responsive design, meaning that you can easily view our website no matter using your home computer, phone or table

Congratulations to the 2017 Senior Homecoming Court

The decision by the president to rescind the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA program) affects our school community.

San Mateo Union High School District (SMUHSD) has a commitment to educating all students, regardless of their race, ethnicity, heritage, national origin, immigration status, or other characteristics. Every student Hillsdale serves deserves our best efforts and we are committed to their success.

We want all students and our community to know that all students have full access to our schools and are protected from pressures and intrusive actions that would disrupt or impair their education.  The District complies with all Federal and State laws governing the privacy of student records including the Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).

The Immigrant Legal Resource Center has information and resources that are available to families.
