Register for Exams

  • Testing begins Monday, May 7th, 2018 and runs through Wednesday, May 17th, 2018 for us at Hillsdale.  Late testing will be the following week.

  • AP exams cost $99 each, and $5 for students on free and reduced lunch. If you do not qualify for free lunch but need financial assistance please see your counselor or Ms. Milton.  (Students who have not applied for the free/reduced lunch program but feel they may qualify should go to the Health Office for an application ASAP.  Note: any student who does not show up for the exam will be expected to pay the $15 returned test fee.)

  • Students will sign-up for tests online through a website called totalregistration.com.  Students can register from January 22nd , 2018  through March 2nd, 2018.  Students who register between March 2nd and March 9th will incur a $25 late fee. The link will be posted on Hillsdale’s website AP Information and is also here: www.TotalRegistration.net/AP/053165

  • Some exams are offered at the same time, so students who need to take both tests should sign up for the LATE exams. Please see Ms. Milton ASAP if you have conflicts with the test dates so I can order an alternate test.

  • AP fees will be primarily collected  through the Total Registration website. If students need to pay cash in person, please see Ms. Milton in the counseling center.  Final payment is due before the test is taken.

  • If a student needs to cancel their exam they can do so before March 9th for a full refund.  No refunds will be given after this date.  We understand these tests are expensive, so please be thoughtful if this is the best option for you.

  • Students who decide to take an AP exam after the order is placed will have to pay the $99 for the exam, plus an additional $55/exam late fee.

  • Students receiving special education services should have submitted their SSD eligibility forms to the College Board See Ms. Milton for the form to fill out. to make sure they get necessary accommodations- extended time, reader, writer, larger print, etc.  (deadline for submission is February 23rd, 2018).
